Polyvert is a branded division of the Polymos Group, which provides sustainable solutions for its customers. These solutions include the recycling and recovery of expanded polystyrene and expanded polypropylene.
Founded in 1969 on the west side of Montreal, Groupe Polymos and its three brands, Polymos, Polyform and Polyvert, are leaders in the expanded plastics industry in North America.
Polyvert is at the forefront of expanded plastics recycling. Thanks to our cutting-edge technologies, we transform polystyrene, polypropylene and polyethylene waste into new raw materials. In this way, we considerably reduce our ecological footprint by limiting landfill waste and recovering materials that would otherwise be lost.
All plastics received at Polyvert are recycled and valorized. They are integrated into different parts, depending on their composition.
For example, recycled plastics can be used to make packaging, lightweight backfill blocks, insulating panels for various buildings, ICF components and much more.
This process is truly a culture for the Polymos Group and all its plants. In fact, it has won the company a number of environmental awards.
Polyvert works with several drop-off points where you can take your polystyrene recyclables (#6) directly.
