AN ACTION PLAN FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Polymos and its environment division have joined forces with its partner Polyvert Recyclage to offer a recovery and recycling service. We have the technology to transform all polystyrene and polypropylene waste. These recycled materials are reused in the manufacture of a wide range of expanded plastic products and transformed into rigid plastic parts.

All surplus recycled materials are redistributed on the market as raw materials.

In 2012, the company made its first round of investments in this division by setting up its own recycling plant. Annual capacity of 5,000,000 kg of plastic was soon reached.

In 2017, Polyform began a second round of investment with the decision to build a new plant, enabling it to triple its plastic recycling capacity. In 2018, the partnership with Polyvert Recyclage began to facilitate material recovery management, increase collection efficiency and achieve high quality standards. We are also in a better position to respond to positive market demand, with volume and frequency continually increasing.

Want to recycle your polystyrene waste, but don’t know where to go? Polyform has set up a recycling bin for clean expanded polystyrene packaging at 454, Édouard Street in Granby, Quebec. This drop-off point allows you to bring your recyclables directly to us at any time.

COMPLETE LIFE CYCLE FOR PLASTICS
Polyform has developed its own recycling scheme for plastics. The process involves 4 stages: recovery, recycling, transformation and reclamation.
