Founded in 1969 in Terrasse-Vaudreuil, west of Montreal, the Polymos Group is a leader in the North American expanded plastics industry.
Originally, the plant was housed in a 2,500 ft2 building. Today, Polymos Group puts 720,000 ft2 of production space at your service, spread over 5 plants and 2 tool shops. These are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment capable of producing small or large parts by molding or cutting processes.
Our solutions are based on three main families of expanded plastics: expanded polystyrene (EPS), expanded polypropylene (EPP) and expanded polyethylene (EEP). These materials offer a wide range of distinct characteristics.

On February 1, 2022, Polymos acquired Plastiques Cellulaires Polyform Inc (“Polyform”), uniting two Quebec pioneers in expanded plastics. This transaction creates a dominant player in North America, with five plants, two tool shops and over 400 employees.
The Polymos Group now comprises four complementary brands: Polymos (industrial solutions), Polymos (civil engineering solutions), Polyform (insulating solutions) and Polyvert (sustainable solutions), consolidating its expertise in several industries and specialized fields.
